The SKINFOOD Carrot Carotene Mask (1ea) is a single-use sheet mask primarily designed to soothe and hydrate irritated, sensitive, or dry skin. It uses a unique "waffle-textured" cotton sheet to hold a generous amount of essence, ensuring deep moisture delivery and skin barrier support.
Key Functions and Benefits:
- Intense Soothing: Formulated with beta-carotene from natural carrot seed oil, it specifically targets and calms redness and inflammation.
- Deep Hydration: Replenishes moisture in dry or parched skin, leaving it feeling soft, plump, and refreshed.
- Barrier Support: Contains ingredients like Panthenol and Centella Asiatica (Cica) to help strengthen the skin’s natural protective barrier.
- Antioxidant Protection: Rich in antioxidants from carrot extract to help protect the skin from external stressors and revitalize tired complexions.
- Quick Revitalization: Aims to provide an immediate "glass skin" glow and improve overall skin texture in a single session.
Featured Ingredients:
- Carrot Root Extract & Seed Oil: Sources of beta-carotene (provitamin A) for antioxidant and calming effects.
- Panthenol: Binds moisture to the skin and aids in wound healing.
- Centella Asiatica & Green Tea Extract: Provide additional anti-inflammatory and soothing benefits.
How to Use:
- Prep: After cleansing, use a toner to refine your skin texture.
- Apply: Place the mask evenly over your face, avoiding the eyes and mouth.
- Wait: Leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes (Note: some "daily" versions only require 5 minutes, but the individual 1ea waffle-style masks typically recommend a longer duration).
